RESEARCH & STRATEGY
IDW believes in legwork. Our research subsidiary, Sum Data, reaches beyond sales numbers, and into the metrics of product content, quantifying enrichment, benchmarking price/value ratios, and studying the user experience. Data is married to summary analysis, from which clients may glean the best possible opportunities to improve business through design. Strategic recommendations cover the full suite of product enterprises: technology and innovation, design/branding language, value engineering, sourcing, and range depth/width.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Collective intelligence is a potent force. IDW's diverse team of designers works as a creative cooperative, injecting multiple, distinct solutions into every design enterprise. Our deliverables are industry leading at every phase of design: ideation, refinement, finalization, tech packaging, prototyping, sample refinement, and production commercialization.
Disruptive innovation is not a luxury in business, it's a necessity. Today, products which exceed expectations and shock core user communities, find massive new audiences through the miracle of social media. IDW's ability to disrupt technology paradigms has been leveraged by brands like Nike, Speedo, Lululemon, Salomon, and Salsa. Our extensive background designing performance gear for olympians, pro ballers, and explorers -- married to superlative industrial expertise --- creates myriad possibilities for big, disruptive innovations.
